Interesting, thanks Clément for sharing your views! I do agree that code is best written and tested in an IDE. But I do also appreciate notebooks for data exploration. And I like notebooks as a framework for building automated reports. What do you think of the recent attempts to lower the barrier between code and Jupyter notebooks: Notebooks as scripts or Markdown documents with Jupytext, and notebooks as scripts in Hydrogen, VScode and PyCharm Pro EAP?
